An afternoon of bread baking.

Learn to make tasty and wholesome gluten free sourdough bread.

We run small workshops from our home kitchen in Stroud, where you can get hands on making gluten free loaves, rolls and flatbreads with no gums or unnatural ingredients.

During these workshops we talk about:

  • different flours and how their characteristics affect the bread

  • sourdough starters and how to keep them alive and well

  • the role of gluten in standard bread and how to work without it

Workshops run from 2 – 5pm

Cost: £40

A slice from a gluten free loaf

“…an absolute game-changer. Martin was knowledgeable and engaging, breaking down the process step by step in a way that was easy to follow… The course was informative and inspiring. I left feeling confident in my ability to bake gluten-free sourdough at home.”

   ~~ Josie

"Martin's course was very enjoyable. We were a small group in his own kitchen and there was lots of really useful information… We left with comprehensive hand-outs as well as delicious bread, rolls and pittas which we had made to take home. Highly recommended."

   ~~ Anne

This is a small workshop in a home kitchen, so spaces are limited to four per workshop. If you would like to join but were not able to get a space, please get in touch to be first in line for the next one.

Please note: although we will be working with gluten free ingredients, there is wheat flour in our house. We make every effort to avoid cross-contamination but if you have coeliac disease please let me know in advance so that we can be sure the environment is safe for you.
