Naturopathic Nutritional Therapy is a personalised, whole-body approach to health and wellbeing. It combines the science of nutrition with the wisdom of natural healing to identify and address the root causes of health issues—not just manage the symptoms.
Conventional healthcare commonly focuses on managing symptoms, however as a naturopathic nutritional therapist I believe symptoms are your body’s way of communicating imbalance, and sometimes are just the effects of the body trying to heal itself.
For example:
Bloating might relate to stomach acid levels, gut bacteria, stress or eating habits.
Skin problems might really be the body trying to rid itself of excess toxins (substances your body sees as harmful or unnecessary)
Rather than suppress the symptom with a pill or a cream, as a nutritional therapist I work with you to understand your unique body, lifestyle, and history. Together, we explore how factors such as food, stress, sleep, environment, and even how you breathe might be affecting your health. Using tailored dietary guidance, lifestyle support, and sometimes functional testing, I help you to bring your body naturally back into balance.
Therapy is not about imposing rules or restrictions. Working together, we start with a detailed consultation where you can feel heard and understood. Based on this I will provide a report which aims to describe the underlying reasons for the symptoms you are experiencing, and from that we produce a plan based on your needs. My aims are to educate and guide you towards informed choices that help you an your way towards achievable outcomes. Change takes time and so I can also offer ongoing support.
